What did you like most about studying Computer Science?

Learning basic coding concepts and getting initial coding experience through the IA

What did you go on to study or do after leaving Hockerill?

BSc Mathematics and Computer Science

What attracted you into a Computer Science profession?

Its problem solving aspect and immensely wide range of applications there are, that allow for a lot of creativity

What helped you getting to where you are now?

My involvement in extracurricular activities (academic, sports). Part-time jobs kept my options open and gave me a better application profile.

What advice would you give to students interested in Computer Science?

Getting involved in as many things as possible: extracurricular, academic, sports, part-time jobs, etc. This will help keep your options open and have a better application profile when it comes to applying to jobs. Especially activities that demonstrate a good social and communication skills, that tend to be less frequent around CS-related jobs applicants.
